Our International Relations department member, Dr. Haluk Doğan, participated in the International Studies Association (ISA) 2024 Annual Convention, held in San Francisco from April 3rd to 6th, 2024, where he presented two distinct papers. The convention, centered around the theme "Putting Relationality at the Center of International Studies," provided a platform for scholarly discourse and exchange.
During the "Debating NATO Enlargement and Its Consequences" panel on April 3, 2024, Dr. Doğan delivered a paper entitled: "Inter-Elite Interactions and Clinton's Foreign Policy towards NATO Enlargement."
In another session titled "New Approaches to War, History, and Law" on April 6, 2024, Dr. Doğan presented a paper titled "The Influence of Political Ideologies on the Historiography of the Iraq War: The Paradoxical Tensions between Normative Explanatory Variants of Liberalism and Realism."
