On Wednesday, 14.12.2022, the conference hosted by the International Relations Department, on the Current Situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Future of Bosnia was held. Prof. Dr. Adamir Jerković, International University Novi Pazar faculty member, was the guest speaker.
The opening speech of the conference was delivered by the Rector of Yalova University, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bahcekapili. Speaking on behalf of International Relations department, Dr. Abdullah Muhsin Yildiz talked about relations between Turkey and Bosnia-Herzegovina and the history of Bosnia-Herzegovina from 1878 to the present. In his speech, Chairman of Yalova Provincial General Assembly Hasan Soyguzel introduced the guest speaker and his pulished books. In his presentation, Prof. Dr. Adamir Jerković analyzed the actors, parties which were influential in the politics of Bosnia and Herzegovina after the Dayton Agreement and relations between them. In the last part of his presentation, Prof. Jerković commented on the results of the October general elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The program ended after a question-answer session and a souvenir photo taken with the participants.
