The International Relations Society at Yalova University successfully held a conference entitled “Turkey–Africa Relations in the 21st Century: From the Table to the Field.”
Featuring distinguished scholar Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kavas, the conference explored the historical development of Turkey–Africa relations, Türkiye’s Africa policy, and Africa’s changing position in the international system from various perspectives.
Bringing academic knowledge and experience into dialogue with students, the event offered comprehensive insights into the political, economic, diplomatic, and cultural relations Türkiye has developed with African countries. During the question-and-answer session, participants also had the opportunity to address their questions directly to Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kavas.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kavas for sharing his valuable knowledge and experience with us, to the Yalova Branch of MÜSİAD for its support, and to all the academics, students, and guests who attended our event.
📚 We look forward to coming together at many more events that bring knowledge, dialogue, and academic exchange together!
